Never did cook my turkey yesterday. Instead I had the "pleasure" of feeling bad and throwing up all afternoon. Went to bed at 8 p.m., which is waaaay early for me. Wasn't in much of a mood to face a turkey.

Feeling better today, so the bird gets cooked.

oh kate, so sorry to hear that. i am feeling bad today, so know how u feel. i did roast a hen yesterday so will make sandwich .grilled for my dinner. take care of your "sick"

Okay...as they say, "Put a fork in me, I'm done." I'm full.

The turkey was the best I've ever cooked. Buck would've loved it. Including stuffing, the bird was probably only 10 pounds. I ended up with almost 5 cups of rich, brown gravy. That was one of Buck's favorite parts of a turkey meal.

Had a piece of Butterfinger pie I brought home from my friend's meal yesterday.

Lots of leftovers for lunches/dinners/freezer.

Well I didn't make my biscuit-bake... Mark had to run some errands when he got home, so the time was up in the air.

I ended up making just scrambled eggs with sausage added and wheat toast. He's happy. :)

Whole wheat fettuccine with sauteed garlic, red bell pepper, asparagus, and spices in extra virgin olive oil, with feta cheese and Parmigiano Reggiano.
