I was playing around and cleening out the fridge. I diced up some pork, onion and mushrooms. Simmered that in some demi glace gravy hit with some cream put it over rice and WoW. Kind of upscale pork in cream of mushroom soup.

Pan-fried spiced rainbow trout with a medley of roasted vegetables (red bell pepper, carrot, cauliflower, and broccoli), and brown rice.

Ba-Tampte's garlic & dill refrigerated pickles are about as close to the old nickel pickle that I'm able to find. Sour enough and neither too firm nor too soft.
