I used up a lot of that excess Boston lettuce that I had. Thanks to a suggestion by Aunt Bea, I made a creamy lettuce soup. It was pretty good. I probably won't go out of my way to make it, but if I have a bunch of lettuce that might go off, I will try to remember to make this again.
Then, we had and white wine shallot sausage and Italian sausage. There was a side dish of some vegis and cooked rice, fried up with some Madras curry paste.
