have had a pot of bean soup in crock pot most of the afternoon. had the ham bone from thanksgiving, used great northern beans, onions, chopped yellow, green, and red peppers, celery, a very well drained can of chopped tomatoes. seasoned with chopped garlic, lots of pepper, and bay leaf. no salt in case ham was salty, tastes a little bland. what should i add, all ideas welcome.

I pounded out some flanksteak and put it in one of those roasting bags along with a can of diced tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, onion powder, carrots, celery onions, beef broth, and worcorshire...(someday I'll learn how to spell it)... I'll serve it over rice. If Paul ever gets home.... smells great but.. I'm guessing the meat will be pretty tough.
