I think Pasta Primavera.

home made beef and onion pies, carrots and peas and plenty gravy.

it feels good to be back in my kitchen again!

Grilled cubed steaks, salad, maybe some sauteed onions and peppers on the side.

:chef: Now that it is nice outside I am all about grilling!!!

Dinner, June 3rd, Tuesday

Defrosting the bl/sl chix breasts now.
Also defrosting the chimichurri sauce that it will soak up all day long.
It'll get baked with roasting vegetables in another sheet pan.
The veggies are broccoli/cauliflower/carroflower/broccoflower/onions/garlic with rosemary and olive oil.
Noodles [fettucce] that I'll make later on today from scratch like grams used to, that will get boiled/buttered/seasoned for the cream sauce that will come later, simple butter/garlic/salt/pepper/cream reduction, but light not heavy.
Sliced tomatoes with tuscan balsamic vinegar.
NYT bread with flax/sesame/poppy seeds rising right now, with butter.
Shortbread cookies if I can find the rice flour that one poster said was a secret to really good shortbread as used and made by her grandmother.

What are you making?

Picking up the MIL at the airport at 2:30 for her 2 week visit :)

We'll have grilled chicken tenders, green beans, some type of tater.

Tonight will be chicken fried steak with sauteed onions /portobellas, gravy, red potatoes, and brussel sprouts with a splash of soy sauce and vinegar.

Recipe for I Dunno:

4 cups I don't want to go to the store
2 1/2 cups I have to work until 7
3 tsp can't find the spice anyway
pinch of uninspired

Toss all together and you have I Dunno :ermm:

Maybe I will just have a bowl of this silly stew......

Defrosting chicken breasts, as well. Made an extra batch of Chimichurri for my steak chimichurri dinner last night.

Baguette & spinach salad.

Dessert - extra raspberry napoleans with raspberry sauce & Vanilla ice cream. Made extras for last night's dinner.

Lefse, does the sauce freeze/taste well?
