The candidates today are:
spare ribs
flank steak
chop meat
hot dogs
corn on the cob
tomatoes
artichokes
Time will tell!!

Burgers or dogs. Depends on what the guys want. Creamed corn for the side and watermelon for dessert.

sautéed in butter with garlic, shrimp. may throw in left over rice. some sort of veg. i have lots of greens in freezer that i need to eat, turnip and so on. so will probably have some of the greens as a side.

I'm not hungry at the moment. I think I will have a burger later and and maybe a stuffed tomato (I love the vine tomatoes they are small enough to be a single serving).

Grilled Lebanese chicken wings. Fabulous. Served with toum, basically a pureed garlic sauce. Tabouleh and baba ganoush with pita.

My mother is gone for the weekend, so I get to cook what I want (she's really picky!!). I'm making one of our favorites (dh, dd, and mine)... Dorowat! Yum!

Went out to eat. Had a parmesan crusted chicken sandwich and french fries. wasn't real hungry, just wanted to be waited on for a change.

I'm making Vietnamese bun (grilled shrimp salad over rice noodles with carrots and cucumbers) for the first time. Can't wait.
