Am taking my new girlfriend out on Valentine's. I want to take her to a classic restaurant either in Los Angeles or California. It's the first time we are going out and i really need it to be perfect.
Does anyone have a good suggestion?

Hi, Dylan. I'm a little confused. Your profile says you live in San Francisco and you're looking for a restaurant in LA? Or *California*? That's a pretty big place ;) Which city do you want to eat in, and what type of restaurant are you looking for? "Classic" isn't really clear to me.

+1. I also wouldn't risk going to a non-tried and true. If there's somewhere close that you liked, and it has her preferences, go there. Check Yelp reviews.

You won't find any nice place not already fully booked with reservations for tomorrow night.

+1, and service is usually pretty bad on Valentine's Day, since the restaurants are packed. This might be a good time to show off your cooking prowess and make dinner for her at your place.
