Yummy Sammich Thursday - 9/24/2020

We had Italian subs, chips and what was left of the apple pie! What did you have?

I don’t think sausage ravioli qualifies as a sandwich it that’s what we had.

We had grilled pork chops that had been brined in Jamaican jerk seasoned Red Stripe beer. Sides were grilled broccoli, canned baked beans, and applesauce made from all the wobbly apples in the refrigerator. I suppose we could have put the beans on toast for a sandwich...

Stressful morning that wiped me out for the day. We went with the delicious and easy Smoked salmon on bagels with cream cheese and sliced onion. We had the last of the bean salad with that, since having some veg is a good idea. It was all yummy.

Mojo marinated, grilled Cuban Style chicken with black beans and rice.

Sweet and Sour Shrimp over White Rice ...

We had breaded chicken cutlets seasoned with Singapore Seasoning and also Pilaf with chopped spinach, and seasoned with the same. Very tasty.

I don't know filling sandwiched between to paces of pasta, topped with a good sauce, sounds like a sandwich to me. As for the sauce, think French dip, or open faced with gravy.: They are still considered sandwiches.wink:

We had pot pies, filling between to pie crusts, with gravy built in.
