Gilroy Garlic Festival

just got back from it, had some garlic ice cream, garlic cheese steak and garlic frys. too crowded for me but stopped by a fruit stand on the way back and found 6/$1 corn, huge bell peppers 3/$1 and freshly picked garlic for $1/lb, made the whole trip worth it.

We lived in central CA when I was growing up and the Gilroy Garlic Fest was always on our summer agenda. We ate some very interesting things there !

We also always hit Corning for the massive selection of all things Olive. Wish I could still get there !
