I've read about a seafood place in the St Andrew's area called Ossie's which has been in business since 1957, & Cow's Ice Cream in Charlottetown. WWhat's everybody's favourite restaurant in Canada's Maritime Provinces, especially good "poutineries" & places to get rappie pie, & especially in New Brunswick & PEI.

Sorry, never been to the Maritimes - the only part of our fair country I haven't seen. Hope to do so one of these days.

btw I've got a travel book that has a recipe for making rappie pie at home. The first two things on the ingredient list is 10lbs of potatoes & a whole chicken :ROFLMAO:

I'm originally from the maritimes. St. Andrew's is beautiful and if you walk downtown you will find many great little places to eat. Elaine's Chowder House (its down on the wharf) is THE place for seafood chowder! Its a small little itty bitty place but the chowder is grand.
