Yes - I just saw that on the news myself. What a shame. While I wasn't a huge fan, as a former New Yorker, it's just kind of sad to see another long-time landmark sort of bite the dust.

We have the Walnut Room here. When Marshall Fields got bought out by Macy's we were afraid it had seen its last days so we took the kids down to see it. I am relieved to see it is still open today though.
