We are all used to traditional Christmas recipes but are there any traditional New Years Day recipes around the World? I need an idea for later today.
Happy New Year to you all from London UK. Bilboben x

Around here, we have ham'n beans on New Year's Day. Cabbage is also traditional. These dishes are supposed to bring health and wealth in the coming year. Some people also have black-eye peas, for the same reason.

I can't remember any traditional dishes from when I was younger, I'll have to ask my Mom if she made anything in particular each year (her memory is better than mine).
I'll have to think of a traditional meal to do for next year. :)
