I am in need of TNT Jello Shot recipes. I'm helping a friend set up here Halloween party and I want to contribute these. Yes I would like ones containing alcohol but nothing strange.

Thanks!!

I know that somewhere on here there's a bunch of postings about this sizz... I'll try to find it for you!

Daiquiri Jell-O
• Large Box (or two smalls) Lime Jell-O
• 2 cups boiling water
• 1+1/4 cup cold water
• 1/4 cup Triple Sec
• 1/4 cup Dark Rum
• 1/4 cup Light Rum

Fuzzy Navel Jell-O #1 - Figmo's Favorite
• Small box of Orange Jell-O.
• 1 cup boiling water
• 1/3 cup cold water
• 2/3 cup Peach Schnapps (approx 30 proof)

Honolulu Mai Tai Jell-O
• Mixed Fruit Jell-O or "Tropical Punch" jell-o, small box.
• 1 cup boiling water
• 1/2 cup Dark Rum
• 1/4 Light Rum

Scary Yellow Pina Colada Jell-O #1
• Pineapple Jell-O, large box (4 cup size)
• 2 cup boiling water
• 1 1/3 cup cold water
• 2/3 cup Coconut-flavored Rum (such as Malibu or Coco-Rhum)
• Or: 2 cup boiling, 1 cup cold, 1 cup coconut rum for stronger "shots")

Strawberry Daiquiri Jell-O #2
• Use large box or 2 small boxes of Wild Strawberry Jell-O.
• 3.25 cups water (half or all of it boiling)
• 1/2 cup Light Rum
• 2 TBLS. fresh lime juice.
• 3 TBLS. Triple Sec

Tequila Sunrise Jell-O Shots
• 1 large box (4 cup size) or 2 small boxes (2 cup/400-500 ml size) Orange Jell-O
• 2 cups water
• 2 cups Tequila
• Grenadine

I do a variation of [Margarita Jell-O] with Orange Jell-O and tequila. When making Orange Jell-O I use tequila for the 2 cups of "hot water", once it's mixed I add 2 cups cold water, pour into cupcake pans (with liners) and let set. Using a bit less cold water and pouring a splash of grenadine into the individual cups makes a nice sunrise effect

These are so fun! Thanks for sharing:cool:
Do you use cupcake tins/liners for all of them? They aren't too big?
I've never made them before but it sounds fun for a BBQ sometime!

We make these alot during family get-togethers. Our liquor stores sell the little plastic shot glasses. We fill them and put them on a tray and refrigerate until set. They are so good!

How many of these would I need for 30 adults?

Sub half the water the jello calls for with vodka. Voila. lol.. don't need all that fancy stuff, jello shooters are for getting drunk fast!

I was planning on getting vodka to make a Witch's Brew in a punch bowl. I'll stick to my plan then. Don't want a bunch of drunks with over 30 kids around.

That is so far from true. It's always obvious when people have a low tollerance for alcohol. No, Jello Shots are NOT a quick drunk. It actually takes quite a few to get even tipsy if they are made correctly. Go for the recipes listed. Normal adults with children can handle more than a couple jello shots. A half and half ratio is totally unnecessary and only used if your sole purpose is to get drunk. And I must say, I don't know anyone with children who view Jello Shots as a way to get a quick drunk. That's just not right to say that.

No offense Callisto. I think all liquor will make anyone drunk if taken excessively. Anyhow, I don't have a budget to spend on all sorts of liquor to make jello shots. I'm only getting a vodka and a rum bottle. Any recommendations on the vodka brand? The wine that my friends bring will suffice too.

Cheap liquor works fine, since all you taste is the jello. I use half cold water, half booze.
I go to Sam's and buy a box of their plastic condiment cups for containers. It will be more than you need, but you can save the rest for another party.
The small sized Dixie cups also work well. I think either is a better size for the shots than cupcake liners.

Man, I wanna go to one of your parties, Constance. In the mean time, I'm off to buy jello and cheap liquor.:)

These shots are "sleepers"...You'll take a bunch of them not realizing they'll kick in...

Medicine cups sprayed with pam works well...

The trick is to find a REASON for guests to take them...EG: time, every hour take a shot... :D
