Vodka is very good at taking flavors from fruits, but I wouldn't go top-shelf vodka on raisons. It would be worth that nine-bucks a bottle vodka.

Reminds me of when we offered a friend a gin and tonic. He had an expression of horror on his face and said "And dilute perfectly good gin?"
