So here in Minnesota, we do not get a lot of "summertime."

Today we had the kind of muggy, hot weather that makes a person only hungry for salad and something cold to drink. So I went shopping with "summer" in mind.

I know enough to know that what I created today has probably been created before. In fact, no one will hurt my feelings in the slightest if you know of a way to improve upon this drink recipe.

I just had to share because it was so good and so perfect after a hot day outside. Totally doable without alcohol as well, actually probably a healthier "pop" for kids.

Anywho, here it is:

Vodka (lemon flavored)
Lemon Sour
Club Soda
Frozen Fruit
Fresh Mint leaves

I used the frozen fruit as the ice, so that went in the glass first. (I used mangos and raspberries) After that I started with just a couple mint leaves. Then I added the vodka, the lemon sour and then the club soda.

I ended up adding more mint for a fresher finish. I also tasted and liked more lemon sour. I love club soda but other sparkling waters would work as well.

Happy Summer everyone!
