A Berry Purple Smoothie

Whirl together this fruit infusion and pack it in a thermos before heading out the door. Adding canned blueberries or blackberries will provide your family with a serving of fruit and powerful antioxidants that protect healthy body cells.
Ingredients:

1 can (20 ounce) crushed pineapple in juice, chilled
1 can (16 1/2 ounce) blueberries or blackberries in lite syrup, chilled and drained
1 1/2 cups small ice cubes
1 container (6 ounce) lemon or vanilla low-fat yogurt

Preparation Time: Approximately 5 minutes

Preparation:

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and puree utnil smooth. Sevrve immediately or keep chilled fo up to one hour. Mix again before serving.

Servings: 4

Nutritional Information Per Serving: 218 calories; 1 g fat; 3 mg cholesterol; 35 mg sodium; 52 g carbohydrate; 3 g fiber; 3 g protein.
