Frosting recipe

Hi all,
I'm looking for a frosting recipe that doesn't contain confectioners sugar. My daughter is allergic to corn starch, so either that or a substitute for confectioner's sugar.

Look for a 7-minute or 8-minute frosting recipe. Some of them use corn syrup (which I wasn't sure about since she can't have cornstarch) and some of them water and sugar so I didn't post or link to a recipe. It's a cooked frosting. It took me a time or 2 of making it before I got it right but it's pretty good, kind of reminds of marshmellows.

You can also make powdered sugar from regular granulated sugar in a blender. Just put it in the blender and run the blender until you have a fine powder, it really is just that simple.
