Bacon left out

Just reheat and eat - it will be fine - it will probably be fine without even reheating. It is cured and many cured meats are left out out at room temp. all the time.
 
I often make bacon in the morning and make a sandwich with it that night. It has never made me sick.
 
I read the title to this topic and thought it was going to be about leaving bacon out of a recipe, which is a crime IMHO! It's that pork fat thing; I share it with Emeril . . . . .

Sorry, I digress. Glad it's not about leaving out the bacon from a recipe though!
 
I'm bad, I've bought bacon and forgotten to refridge it overnight. Cooked it and never had a problem. I figure I see ham and bacon sitting on the shelves in stores so it is one food I just don't worry about. I'd have eaten it.
