If it does not smell or taste rancid, it should be fine. It is the least prone, among cooking oil when kept in the open. This is due to the natural antioxidants present in the oil. Because of this, it carries a premium relative to other cooking oils.

Should still be good. I bought five cases of Ayurvedic sesame oil about four years ago. The liter brown glass bottles are all sealed, and I am on my next to last case. Still good.
