I purchased a small planter from the store a bit before thanksgiving and it houses one sage plant, one rosemary, and one thyme plant. The rosemary died a week ago, the thyme is fine but this morning I found teeny tiny bugs crawling all over the sage (mostly). They have constructed a blanket of very fine web all over the sage as well. Any idea what they are and how the heck I can get rid of them? I'd planned on making some chicken with the sage for dinner :(

Thanks!

Those are Spider Mites - a very common pest of indoor plants. Sage doesn't like soaking wet soil (frankly, neither does Rosemary or Thyme), but if you can somehow maneuver the planter so that you can gently rinse the bugs off the plant with plain water without soaking the soil, & continue to do so over a period of time until you no longer see the mites &/or their webs around, that's your safest bet.
