Chicken Bone In- Lime ?

okay im cooking my bone in chicken in a oval ceramic dish with like 3 inch sides which i cover chicken in foil.

i put a thin layer of chicken stock in bottom.

i put garlic slivers under skin of chicken.

i want lime too.

should i put lime thin slices under skin, on top of chicken, or just floating in the broth

what are other veggies i can put in this dish to flavor the chicken besides lime and garlic on / around skin and broth in bottom

im seasoning it with adobo chile powder mesquire seasoning mexican oregano salt pepper ground coriander ground cumin etc etc

smoked red habanero powder to

what are some things i can put in the liquid

onion maybe?

i cook chicken 30 mins on one side then 30 on other

This is for tacos?

Do you have a grill? If so, I'd use that.

Lime won't do much just layered on it. Would have been better to marinate it in something with lime juice in it. IMO the garlic under the skin doesn't do a lot either.

Season the cooking liquid. You might put some lime juice in. Onions can be added and used in the tacos, you can mix them into the shredded chicken.

No need to turn the chicken. An hour might be too long. You DO NOT want to overcook it. USe a meat thermometer.
