While holiday shopping this year, I noticed a large bin full of frozen stuffed turkeys. They sold very quickly. Did anyone buy one?
Does anyone know how it works? Thawing the turkey with stuffing in it?
As well as it sold, I am sure the stuffed turkeys will become a regular item. (note: they did not have to put them on an advertised special.)
It was so busy in the store that I didn't stop to look at them. Are they smoked or fully cooked?

The bird goes into the oven frozen. A friend has been buying them for several years, and likes them. I haven't tried them myself.

While I've never bought them, I can tell you without even having read the cooking instructions for them that they must be cooked from the frozen state. Thawing with the stuffing inside the bird would definitely be a bacterial science experiment in the making - lol!!!
