2. What is your favorite childhood memory?

3. What was something embarrassing that happened to you as a kid that as an adult you can now laugh about?

What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done?
("danger" is subject to your take on the word)

What's one thing on your Bucket List? (a wish before you kick the bucket)

Do you think that you are generally an optimist or a pessimist?

Why do you cook?

gosh, should say something profound about the book. "complete works of walt whitman, i think.

the marriage of my mom and my step father when i was seven. changed my whole life.

when i was a kid my mom drilled me constantly about never get in car with anyone. on the way to second grade, myself and friend were hit by a car. i kicked and screamed when the policeman tried to put me in his car. needless to say my mom revised her list,so i would trust a policeman.

this is pretty serious. it was a life changing event for me. my husband was murdered 15 years ago and i was held hostage by the killer. the killer was my second husband that i had divorced. some of you know this story. it really changed me a great deal. it made me realize that life can change in an instant. i have pstd from it, that is controlled with meds. i view life one day at a time. the killer is in prison for the rest of his life. he is now 76 years old. we never know what life will deal to us. so i find it best to just go with the flow. i used to worry about every little things. since this happened i know nothing could be as bad as that. i think about it every day. still processing , i guess. don't see shrinks anymore. i think i was counseled well. but changed nothing so quit going. did not want to bring anyone down. however this is a very very big part of who i am in my old age.

maybe more than anyone really cared to know.

Babe, in reference to your bucket list, you said.......

"to go back east and see my sister. "

How long has it been since you have seen her, and is your family here in California aware of how much you want that?
I sure wish that could happen for you.

i haven't seen my sister in about ten years. we are all getting so old. i don't think my family here thinks about it one way or another. since my recent illnesses i don't think i could fly across the country by my self. we talk very often, but i still miss her. she is my only sibling.

Babe, this question may be too personal or difficult to answer so feel free to ignore it if you want.

Did you want the killer to get the death penalty or did you want him to spend the rest of his life behind bars?

I have heard your story because and it breaks my heart every time.

your question was addressed by me at the time. i held a life long belief against the death penalty. i thought and thought and decided i still held my belief. partly, because the out doors kind of man he was, would suffer much more from being confined. also at his age, the death penalty would never have been used. all the appeals, etc. take many years. i have heard that he is not well, and is in a wheelchair. i have to say it gives me a certain amount of satisfaction. i know that sounds cold, but it how i feel.

I do not think that sounds cold at all. After what he did I could not imagine you feeling any other way.

Babe, no, at least not for me. I have known parts of your story but not all of it and I am glad you felt you could share that. I have always thought of you as a very strong woman with a lot of courage and kindness. You are often in my thoughts and prayers.

Now for a question. If you could meet anyone (for the first time), living or dead, who would it be and what question(s) would you ask them?
