1. I' m a paralegal and I LOVE coffee houses, I thought it would be cool to combine those things and open The Gavel and Grind and put it near a court house. It would allow me to do tons of muffins, scones and breads all with a great cup of tea or coffee.
2. I went to a vegan pot luck and had these awesome "meatballs" made from walnuts! and they were fantastic and had the texture of meat! I wish I had the recipe, but sadly I do not.
3. I have two, my mom and my husband, because they are both awesome.
Thanks for featuring me!

What are you most proud about?
If you could go back in time and visit yourself at a younger age, what would be the number one thing you would want your younger self to know?

I am most proud of what God has done in my life.
If I could go back in time, I would go back to when I was enrolling in college and tell myself major in what I love to do everyday, which is cook and I would tell myself to take a web design class (it would be so helpful now with my blog!)

1. I would have to say shell fish (clams, mussles, etc.) excluding crabs. Not because they are particularly difficult to make or anything I have made them many times. It seems that as I got older I lost the taste for them and have lost the desire to see them too.
2. No, I haven't made it to any foreign countries yet.
3. I do love to travel and have traveled to big cities in the US and have tried to recreate the things that I have had there, specifically traditional Japanese and Chinese.

1. Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
2. If money were no object and you had a year to do anything at all you wanted, what would you do?
3. How do you want to be remembered when you are gone?
4. Would you get more satisfaction from preparing a perfect meal for ten people or from teaching those ten people how to prepare that meal?

My favorite teacher in school was Jamie Bloom. He was my High school Trig Teacher. He made math fun.
My favorite Professor was Deborah Morris, she taught Detective Fiction, my favorite elective course.
2. If money were no object and you had a year to do anything at all you wanted, what would you do?
I would travel the world with my husband for a few months, and then I would buy a farm and raise animals and plants.
3. How do you want to be remembered when you are gone?
I want to be remembered as someone who was loving, and truly cared about people. I want to be remembered as a good wife and mother and a godly woman.
4. Would you get more satisfaction from preparing a perfect meal for ten people or from teaching those ten people how to prepare that meal?
That's a tough one, I think I get the most satisfaction seeing people enjoy food and each others company. You can have the best meal in the world, but if the people that you are surrounded by are enjoying themselves, the meal tastes so much better.
