What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done?
("danger" is subject to your take on the word)
What do you expect to be doing in ten years?
Do you think that you are generally an optimist or a pessimist?
Why do you cook?

Just when you thought you were done...
What would you "do over" just to enjoy it all over again?
And what would you like to have a "do over" to fix?

Would you get more satisfaction from preparing a perfect meal for ten people or from teaching those ten people how to prepare that meal?

How i treated my next youngest sister (of the mac and cheese fame). She idolized me when we were young and I acted like she was a piece of gum on the bottom of my shoe.

oooh, babe........... Reading is like breathing to me - can't remember NOT knowing how to read. Not sure how many books I've read this year. I tend to read non-fiction mostly nowadays, but one of my very faves is Mark Twain, and not just his famous works. His letters are hilarious and he wrote the most striking short description of the aftermath of an ice storm that I have ever read. I'm looking forward to reading the autobiography that just came out. I also am a HUGE Jane Austen fan - her perception about human behavior is still spot on after 200+ years.

I'm a lousy teacher, so I would prepare the meal and hopefully bask in glory afterward, unless I had to make fried chicken, which I suck at.

'cuz, Uncle Bob, when I was a starving college student I worked in a very popular dive restaurant that served catfish every Friday night. People lined up out the door for this catfish. Each serving -- deep fried -- still had the head and tail on. Just grossed me out. Then I tasted it (elsewhere, sans head/tail) and....nothing. Just doesn't taste like anything to me - same with lobster. HH and the kid love it, though.
