What's the most dangerous thing you've ever done?
("danger" is subject to your take on the word)
What do you expect to be doing in ten years?
Do you think that you are generally an optimist or a pessimist?
Why do you cook?

My first name is Roch which is pronounced Rock. And, I was a B52's fan back in the day. Oh, and I like Lobster...
I do like TV. We have been using rabbit ears for over 20 years so anything I watch will be from DVD and I still buy VHS movies at yardsales. I like things like The Office, Seinfeld, Flight of the Conchords. I'm a big satire fan...
Perfect day? Family, Friends, Food, in a social setting. I don't really care where...

I think I would like to have been at Woodstock.
I love cooking The Classics. I'm a big French/Italian cooking fan. I spent two years in Italy working in a Kictchen and as a Barrista. I fell in love with the cuisine. I am French Canadian and there are many similarities to the approach to food. Love the flavors, prep time, and wine...
Growing up I loved Ken Dryden who was a goaltender for the Montreal Canadians. I was(and still am) a hockey goalie. I am a big Velvet Underground fan, because of their unique approach to music.

That's a tough one, Barbara. I hated school. The acedemic part anyway. Loved the social aspects. I was good at it when I showed up. I did get through. College also. Maybe I never had any good teachers? Maybe I was just a pain in the ****? Neccessary evil as far as I am concerned. We homeschooled our daughter for a few years. She has been at the top of her class since returning to the school system.
I guess I would travel. Where would depend on my wife. She is mobilty challenged and is restricted in what she can do.
I want people to smile when they think of me.

Drugs.
I hope to be doing what I am doing now. Cooking and drumming. Exercising, and being healthy enough to eat whatever I want.
I am a cynical optimist.

Not boring at all babetoo. I am not a reader. Not novels, anyway. I keep a pretty busy schedule, and am rarely alone. I work about 12 hours a day, and play in a band on weekends. I am also a homekeeper so, by the time I get to bed, I am spent. I try to read, but I usually fall asleep withing 5 minutes. When I do have time, I am in my music room working on percussion exercises or drum parts for the projects I am working on at the time. I think I need glasses, on top of it all. I have read one book this year. I have no favorite authors, although I did really enjoy Kurt Vonnegut's work, so I guess he could be my favourite. Thanks for the question...

I don't know how to answer that one, Alix. I wish I would have started to play the piano at a younger age. Watching my daughter play is so inspiring. She glides along so effortlessly. I'm like a big ape playing a Fisher Price plastic piano. plunk plunk plink.

Would you get more satisfaction from preparing a perfect meal for ten people or from teaching those ten people how to prepare that meal?

I'd love to have people cook with me. I am probably hard to follow because I am fairly scatterbrained and have probably learned some pretty bad habits or unusual techniques over the years. My daughter isn't really interested but she does hang out in the kitchen while I cook. My wife rarely cooks because I always do. But I do enjoy being busy for hours in the kitchen by myself, with music and refreshments....
So, I guess I'd enjoy both equally well. Thanks for the question.
