Tex-Mex Cheese Steaks
Serves 4
2 avocados
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Kosher salt
4 hoagie rolls, toasted
12 ounces deli roast beef, sliced
2 teaspoons chili powder
8 ounces Pepper jack Cheese, shredded
1 tomato, sliced
Mash avocados with lime juice and salt to taste. Spread on top half of hoagie rolls. Warm beef in skillet, sprinkling chili powder over. Divide into 4 servings and add cheese, heating till melted. Place tomato slices on bottom of rolls and top with beef and cheese. Serve with hot sauce.
