I decided to try the coconut syrup last night , instead of the usual vanilla extract . It was not too bad. Just use the usual banana bread recipe and a flavored syrup instead of vanilla extract. Next time I'm going to try butterscotch flavoring . :chef:

I've tried coconut extract in my banana bread recipe and it works well. Add some sliced almonds before baking and you get a tropical twist to this bread. Lately, I've been adding caramel syrup in the center and over the top...devine! I've tweaked it several times. Mini chocolate chips are great too.

that's good it worked well. I don't use extracts since I have a lot of different flavored syrups.
