Hi all, first post.
I live in a small town in Wyoming with no "real" pizza.
So i make my own. Enjoy!

Nice looking pies...

What's your dough recipe look like?

I mix it up now and again, but typical dough

4.5 cups bread flour
1 pack ADY
tsp salt
tsp sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
1.75 cups water


I have recently gotten into making home made fresh mozzarella.
I make my own sauce as well.

WOW, they are amazing and so professional looking. I enjoy making pizza too, but I cheat slightly with ready made dough.

I don't blame you for cheating on the dough, it can be a mess and time consuming.
I work a 7 on 7 off. So i have a lot of time on my hands. And a wife who doesn't mind cleaning up after me. :chef:
 
Some nice looking pies!;) You using the kitchen oven or you have a wood burning, outdoor oven or cook them on the grill?
 
Just the oven with pizza stone for now. I have plans on building a wood fired brick oven in the yard, not sure if i will get it done this summer.

Wow, thats a tough one.
Although the deep dish pizzas are very good. I would say hand tossed with sausage, mushroom, onion and black olive. The fresh mozzarella makes a huge difference IMHO. Shredded cheese is good but the fresh mozz makes a more interesting pizza. A few fresh basil leaves give it a great kick as well.
 
Those are lovely, Moose13! Pizza is definitely one of the major food groups!

BTW, welcome to DC!
