Never heard of Argentinian shrimp, most of ours come from Vietnam. Shrimp cocktail might be old fashioned but I love it.

I don’t think shrimp cocktail is “old fashioned” at all! It’s eternal! It’ll never go away unless we kill all the shrimp.

I’m just a little tired of classic shrimp cocktail sauce.

The Argentine red shrimp aren’t actually from Argentina. As I understand it, they’re red shrimp from the deep water of the Gulf. They are red, though. There are also Key West pink shrimp, similar to the red. Both have a very delicate flavor and a texture similar to lobster. Really delicious!

I bought some "Argentinian Red Shrimp" recently, and they tasted like Gulf shrimp, to me. They also looked like the Gulf shrimp from over near Florida. They happened to be on sale, which is why I bought them.
