1. Two fish filets lightly pounded,
2. Seasoned butter mixed with shredded or sliced cheese, I had Havarti and Cheder, about a half to a whole teaspoon.
3. Flour
4. Egg beaten
5. Bread crumbs
6. Oil for frying
7. Seasoning of your choice. I used garlic salt cayenne pepper, paprika, and lemon pepper.
Season fillets to your liking, put the butter and cheese mixture in the middle of the one filet and cover the other one. I am not giving amounts because it really depends on type of the fish you will use and the size. I had frozen Flounder filets from Sam’s club. Dragged in flour lightly, deep in the egg wash and then in seasoned or plain bread crumbs. Fry on both sides. Serve immediately, with a side dish of your choice. Supper simple, but very tasty.
