I now want toast and eggs soooo badly. Darn me for not having had time to run out to the farm where I buy my good eggs! All I have are grocery store ones that I buy for dishes that don't need the flavor, just the binding. It's really not safe to read threads on here when I'm pregnant! I'm debating whether I'd rather fry up the grocery store ones or wait until monday when I can run out for the good ones!

My sisters always liked toast and also cheese sandwiches that I made with the iron (not a steam iron). Of course I didn't do this when my mom and dad were home.

Maybe somebody should design a toast rack which will stand your toast straight up so it won't perspire against your plate. One thing I do is apply my spread in small batches as I eat it at the table so it doesn't sit there soaking in and making the toast soggy.
