So I'm about to start making dinner when I realized I don't have any milk and don't want to run back to the store again tonight just for milk (raining and watching the kid). But I do have buttermilk. I'm making mac'n'cheese, so can I use buttermilk, or rather I guess will it affect the final product?

Sure! Might add some nice richness.

I'd bet it will be delicious!

Really! I'll bet it would be so good you'll never make it with regular milk again! Let us know how it came out, please?

I've made mac and cheese with buttermilk several times we all loved it. why use your milk for mac and cheese when buttermilk is so good in there.
