This is the only place that i could see to put this.

We are considering doing a website that sells sweets in a jar, including cakes and breads. Is this safe, and what are the steps that i need to make it safe if there are steps? I have read things about it being unsafe, and didnt know if you knew any techniques to make it safer.

Thanks

You basically bake the cake in a mason canning jar, and then seal it once it comes out. I have a ton of recipes for them.

Well I suppose as long as it was all sterilized first it would be fine then. But then, it has been along time since I canned anything.

Edit: If the cake or bread is baked in the jar, how would you get it out when ready to eat it? Just eat it straight from the jar? I know, I am not helping just coming up with more questions, LOL.
