Do all frozen fries that are sold in supermarkets have palm oil?...

or other bad oils?

if yes, why is it?

Cost to the maker. They are less worried about your health, and more worried about short term profit, The real danger of palm oil is that forests are being destroyed and the land is plated with palm trees for the oil. Biodiversity is lost,, an the carbon footprint is increased.

I'm sure there are some fries somewhere, that have an oil that's better, but you will pay extra, I'm sure.

McCains, a Canadian brand, uses canola oil for their fries. Cavendish Farm, another Canadian brand, uses soybean or canola oil.

Personally, I am more concerned about the environmental impact of the palm oil plantations. As the Chief mentioned, they are clear cutting forest to plant these trees. It's a major reason why orangutans are endangered.
