Once or twice a year, S. O. drags me to a flea market in NH on a Sunday morning to see what we can see.

I try to make it interesting for myself by looking for old cookbooks and kitchen stuff of interest.

We went today and I made out quite well! I was able to pick up "The French Chef Cookbook" by Julia Child for $3.00! It contains all the recipes from the entire TV series.

As if that wasn't enough, I found Barbara Kafka's "Roasting" for $2.00 (different vendor). I feel like I had a really good day.

In past visits I have picked up "Mastering the Art of French Cooking - Vol. 1" by Julia and friends and "Paul Prudhomme's Louisiana Kitchen", his first cookbook, each for $3.00!

I also saw some others I might pick up in a weak moment. One was Jeff Smith's " The Frugal Gourmet Cooks with Wine". Does anyone have an evaluation of this book?
