Help with Lemon Sauce

i would like to make lemon sauce to serve over pound cake. i have lemon pudding mix (instant) anyone have a clue how i would use it. maybe more milk to thin it out ? please help , need by tomorrow evening. ;) i found many recipes for lemon sauce but would like to use the pudding.

Yes babe, I think more milk or some lemon juice would do the trick. Is it cooked pudding or instant?
 
In addition to the extra milk, and lemon zest, I would add some fresh lemon juice also. If memory serves me, the pudding mix doesn't have the "pucker" I'd like for a sauce. Let us know how it turns out Babe! :)
 
the sauce was just great, lots of "this is so good" made instant pudding and let it set. then slowly added small amounts of milk til thin as liked. then added juice of half a lemon. i forgot the zest but will certainly do it next time. had nice tang and complimented the pound cake.
