ISO cooking classes in my area of Illinois

I am a new cook and would love to take a couple of classes. Does anyone know of any cooking classes in or around the Naperville, IL area??

I am just looking to get my feet wet. I have always loved cooking but I would really like to see what others do and get some sort of foundation built so I can stop burining and destroying good meals!! LOL I would really appreciate any help!

You can always go to their website and check the class schedules ...

If you have a Junior/Community College in your area you might also check with them - they generally have such 1-2 week programs.

And, some grocery stores (like Whole Foods and Central Market) have cooking classes ... don't know about the stores in your area.

Also you could check with the Chicago Restaurant Association. Or your local high school may have adult ed classes on cooking. just a thought
