Made a lemon pound cake. First couple times I made it they came out great. Light and fluffy with good crust. This time it looks soggy and wet on the bottom no matter how long I cook it. What does the soggy look typically mean?

I can't see either of your images - the page shows broken image links - but if you can share your recipe, we can better help you troubleshoot it.

I noticed on the bad one the bottom of the pan was wet. I do grease with some butter so not sure if it was melted butter or batter mix.

The recipe is more process than ingredients. I follow a YouTube vid but last time I linked to YouTube vid on here I accidentally got banned so don’t want to link to it.

Basically u take the eggs/sugar and mix. Add in extract.

Another bowl you take lemon zest, juice and butter and mix.

Then u take cake flour and baking powder and fold into egg mix.

Finally you fold in lemon juice mix.

Pour batter into cake pan. Cook 350 for 5 min and drop to 320 for 25min or until toothpick clean.
