There's also ROMESCO sauce. It's Spanish in origin and made with tomato, peppers, almonds, etc.

However, when a reference is usually made to red sauce, the reference is to Italian tomato sauce.
 
Yes, bucky, how could I forget about those! Mexican, and many other Latin American cuisines have more than one salsa rojas. And there are all sorts of bottled hot sauces called "red sauce".

 
The Canary Isles have a wonderful recipe called "papas arrugadas" (wrinkled potatoes) These are always served with two " mojos" - green and a red sauce .
