Everytime I think the American Chef has a corner on something new and exciting in the world of cuisine I find I am wrong. With this in mind I offer menu and recipes from a friend in New zealand.

Bon Appetite!

Molten menus

It does, but not for a $15 cup of coffee. :ROFLMAO:
I wasn't really looking at prices just the menu, wow.
I live in Charleston SC and it is pricey here but not like that.

I was in San Francisco and my husband and I stopped for lunch while playing tourist. We were both thirsty and ordered 4 teas each. They were only 8 ounce glasses. When we got the bill it was $16 for the ice tea alone! We were totally surprised, in the south your tea is a bottomless glass.

It could have been worse. Y'all drank 1/2 gallon of tea. Nothing in California is terribly cheap. I ate out in Palm Springs one night, and in LA one night, and spent $600 plus tax on ordinary food I could prepare at home.

Actually, I was alone. It was Chinese take-out for three. Don't misunderstand, Californis knows how to cook, but I could have bought the same thing at home for $30 with tax.

The only food I ate in California I thought was outstanding was a Cobb Salad. It was devine and $8. .
