\I made breadcrumbs with Arnold Light W/W bread and they had such an off
taste,a mix of cinnamon an very sweet. I'm looking for a W/W bread ,preferably
something I can buy at a regular supermarket (shoprite,a&p) to make my toasted breadcrumbs.
Thanks

I prefer Baker's Inn bread myself, I only use end slices to make bread crumbs, and I never toast them because I prefer the texture that fresh crumbs give things like meatballs and meatloaf.

I do have it on good authority that George Weston Bakeries Inc. has received so many complaints about their "new" formula light bread that they will be returning to the original formula by June.

I know you can buy whole wheat panko bread crumbs. These are usually found in the specialty flour section, flax seed, etc.
