has anyone tried using Xylo Sweet as a substitute for sugar in jam preserves?

You really should not change preserve recipes, specially when it comes to changing sugar for something else. The recipes are specifically formulated for the fruit/pectin/sugar called for.

Have you checked to see if there are specific recipes for jams or preserves using Xylo Sweet?
