This is a new product for the company I got for 1.79 before taxes.

A rectangular croissant with chocolate filling.

The taste here was not bad, but needed more chocolate.

flavor was not bad, nothing special.

Price was not bad at all for this product.

I give this item a medium sized thumbs up.

Well, lick your fingers for me. I keep waiting for DD to re-open in the twin cities.
Until DD arrives you could make your own. I think I've read that you can buy croissant dough in a can? That wrapped round a supply of good chocolate (70% is available here and works) baked in the oven and you have your own pain au chocolat

I haven't tried it but there was a recipe in a magazine recently that used bought ready rolled puff pastry wrapped round chocolate to make them.

Best with all butter croissant dough or pastry, I think.

Enjoy.

Sadly, bought ones nearly always do. Even in France, where they are in every boulangerie.
