McDonald's strawberries and cream pie

I don't know if every McDonald's is doing this, but I stopped at the one in Belfair this afternoon and decided to try their new pie. I had to wait ten minutes until they were out of the oven, but that meant I ate it warm.

OMG. Delicious. I think I'm going to go back there and buy 20 more of them and put them in the freezer - IF I can keep from eating them all at once.

I don't know why they do promotions at some McDonald's and not at others. This same McDonald's had a promotional lemon pie a couple years ago that was also delicious (even though it can't compare to the strawberries and cream). You'd think if this stuff was selling out so fast, they'd leave it on the menu. Ah, well.

Anyone else had this recently?

I'm not a food fan of McD, but if I'm out and about on a warm day, I do enjoy going through the drive through for one of their yummy large Vanilla Iced Coffee's... better than pricey Starbucks at only $2. I'll give one of those pies a try next time.
