I remember someone saying that they cook ribs in the crockpot, but, I can't remember who and what thread it was.

I want to try this tomorrow. I have a marinade that I use that I will soak them in all night, but, I want to know whether or not to save some and use it for the liquid to cook them in or use water and how long to cook them?

Thank you Sierra. My husband is not very optimistic about it. He cooks the ribs on the grill, but, after hearing all of you and making all that food last weekend in the cooker and it falling apart, I can't wait to taste it and rub it in his face

I agree, ribs made in the crock pot are tender and delicious! I didn't read the thread, but I will throw ribs in on high when I come home on lunch, with a shake of salt, pepper, garlic, red pepper, and sometimes hickory salt, and 5 hours later, when I get home, I put them in the oven with a slathering of BBQ sauce for 30 minutes or so and voila, dinner is served!
