Barbecue Green Beans

3 (15 oz) cans green string beans, well drained
1 med. onion, chopped
8 slices uncooked bacon, cut in pieces
1 1/2 c. catsup
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cider vinegar
2 TBL Liquid Smoke

Pre-heat the oven to 275.....
Combine the bacon pieces and the Green Beans in a large salad bowl.
Combine remaining ingredients in a Stainless Steel Bowl.
Coat the bottom of a shallow (8 x 10 1/2) casserole dish with a little of the BBQ mixture.
Spoon the bean and bacopn mixture evenly into the casserole. Pour the remaining sauce evenly over the beans.
Bake, covered, for 4 hours.
