Ew... LOL!!!! Not that kind of black garlic. Apparently the heads are put in a temperature controlled unit and come out like that after 3 weeks. They are supposed to be sweet and savory. I'm really interested. I found a recipe for scallops that calls for a slice of black garlic on top. Sounds delicious!
I hope someone pops on that has tried this so I can find out. I'm going to buy it either way (on my way very soon) and will let you know!!!
Yes I did read that - and I just tried it - AMAZING!!!! It tastes so delicious........ exactly as it describes.. sweet and savory but still a BIT garlicy but not hot.
I ate a whole clove but savored each tiny bite... I could eat an entire head.. I wonder what that would do to my digestive system!!
