I just threw this together this evening. I wanted something with pineapple, but also something savoury. I came up with this and it was really yummy.

Ingredients
1 cup freshly chopped chunks of pineapple (or 1 can drained chunks)
2 cups bean sprouts
2 cups chopped broccoli
1/2-1/4 white onion, chopped
1/2 tsp minced ginger
1/2 tsp minced garlic (more or less depending on preference)
1 tbsp teriyaki sauce
1-2 tbsp soy sauce
vegetable oil
toasted sesame seeds

Method
Saute chopped onion in vegetable until mostly cooked through. Add in the garlic and ginger and stir until combined. Add in vegetables and the soy and teriyaki sauce and stir fry. When veggies are almost all the way cooked, add in the pineapple and mix until heated through. Sprinkle on toasted sesame seeds when ready to serve.

Serve with some rice and shrimp skewers w/ asian condiments of your choice. :)

Yummy... the pineapple tastes really good with the savoury sauces and veggies. It looked pretty too, with the bright green broccoli.

Sounds mouth watering, Grumblebee! I think I might be tempted to toss some cashews or peanuts in there, especially if I didn't have sesame seeds on hand and then serve it with thin rice noodles. Lovely recipe, thanks for sharing your pineapple creativity with us :)
