Has anyone made refrigerator pickles? I just made my 3rd batch..My oldest son made off with the first batch, we went through almost the complete 2nd one on the 4th.These turned out so well, I was wondering how others did theirs and what the taste was like..Mine are like bread and butter pickles take 24 hours and then you can eat them.

I do three day dill pickles. None of us much care for any other kind.
I think Gil would like some dill's just haven't found a good recipe...These are pretty good but you have to like bread and butter pickles.

I used to do dills quite often, but had totally forgotten about them. Thanks!

uh....Alix, perchance you have a good recipe, maybe, huh, please? :)

Nevermind... Just saw it in the right spot (for those expecting it here it's in the "canning and preserving" forum).

The pickles I make very much resemble the Manischewitz brand Garlic pickles.
I like my pickles so sour that most normal people will not eat them, so I let them seat extra long time.

I use my grandmother's recipe for refrigerator dills ... with all the canning and freezing we do in the fall, it's nice to have a good recipe for something in the fridge!
